Joint Birthday Party

Aww... My Dad came to visit on the day of the boys joint birthday party. I just loved this picture. I thought it was a sweet one of my daddy and his grandsons. :)

The boys had a lot of fun even though they didn't have a whole lot of friends show up at their party. The best part was the cake!

Jacob's 2nd Birthday

Jacob's birthday was this past Monday. On Sunday night, we had a family birthday party for him. He got scared and started crying when we sang happy birthday to him, so Robb had to hold him.

I didn't notice until I took the cake out of the box that his name was mis-spelled. I was not aware that his name could be spelled like this.

Everytime he opened one of his presents he said 'Ooooohh' It was too cute!

Norah Lane is here!

Ms. Norah Lane Ellis arrived last night, April 6th, at 10:56pm after a very short 3 hour labor. She was 12 days early and weighed 7lbs and 14oz and was 21.5 inches long. She is so beautiful! We are just praising God for a great birth and a healthy baby! More pictures and birth story to come.

Baylee's Birthday Party Pictures

Baylee turned 6 on March 27th. We had her birthday party the night before at Chuck e Cheese. I absolutely can not stand that place, it puts a whole new meaning to that song Chuck e Cheese hell. The torture we inflict on ourselves for the love of our children :)

She did have a wonderful birthday, complete with the Hannah Montana cupcake cake! I can't believe she is already 6! That's like halfway to being a teenager; scary!!

A Saturday to Remember

Baylee's 5th birthday party was on Saturday and that day turned out to be one day that I will never forget. Robb and his dad had been working very hard all week to make sure that the porch would be done by the time of Baylee's party. When we woke up Saturday morning it was raining, we checked the forecast and it said that it would rain the whole day. Great! I had planned for an outside party, so now we had to move it inside. I was ok, it was no big deal, I started cleaning and Robb and his dad worked on the porch while it was raining (it was off and on). I took the kids to Wal-mart and got all the food for the party and came home to finish cleaning and blowing up balloons. It was about 12:45 and I was doing the dishes when Robb's dad yelled at me to come outside. He said "Robb's cut his finger!". So I go outside and Robb is hopping around trying not to yell, I asked if he cut it off and he said no (he has already cut the tip of one of his fingers off, that is why I asked). He had cut it with the table saw and needed to go to the emergency room because he was bleeding so bad. So his dad took him while I stayed at home with the kids. By then it was 1pm and the party was at 4. I really wanted to cancel it because I was freaking out about Robb, but I didn't. So now I am left with the kids to now clean up the yard (which is full of lumber that needed to be moved onto the truck that was in the middle of the driveway) and the rest of the inside of the house. My friend Sarah came over early and was able to help me which was a major blessing! I wouldn't have got it all done without her. Finally Robb got home about 4:20, just in time for the party. He had to have 5 stiches and a round of antibiotics because he cut his finger down to the bone. Poor Baby! I felt so bad for him, but he is so accident prone.
But besides that, the party turned out wonderful! As soon as I get the pictures I will post them. Baylee had lots of fun and got a lot of cute clothes and other stuff! It certainly was not what I had planned but turned out to be a day that I will not soon forget!
