Happy New Year!! It's been over a week, but I have really not been doing much so I haven't had anything to type about. We went out of town to visit my family on Thursday (new years day) and then came back Saturday afternoon. We had a good visit, but it's a lot traveling with 3 kids. Plus on top of that, I was coming down with something (I am sickly now) and Robb was sick and coughing like crazy. I think the next time we go visit, which will not be until after the baby is born, we are going to get a hotel. We will try it out and see if it makes things easier on us. All in all we had a great time though, it was good seeing all of my family.
The kids are doing well aside from the sickness. Baylee has been out of school since Dec. 19th and she goes back tomorrow. It's been nice having her around the house and not having to get up real early to take her to school. But I know she is excited about going back and seeing all of her friends and her teacher, she really likes school.
I really feel like the days are flying by and I am in slow motion. It seems like it should only be the 3rd day of the month and its the 6th. The weeks seem to be flying for me. Every week I am a little further along, I can't believe in 2 1/2 weeks I will be in my 3rd trimester. When people ask me when I am due, and I tell them April, they say 'well, you still have quite a while left'. It seems like I do, but I really don't. The first of the year always is busy for us because of the sheer amount of birthdays, then throw on top preparing for #4, I really don't have that long. I can't imagine how things are going to go when I start nesting with 3 kids in the house, I will probably drive myself nuts. But I am trying to do as much "spring cleaning" as I can do now, like cleaning out closets and getting rid of extra stuff (like toys). Robb said he is going to paint our bedroom before the baby comes, which makes me extra happy because it will get cleaned really well at that time too. I will have a new, clean bedroom to labor in, how splendid! Something about having a baby makes me want to re-do my house, I am sure that Robb is glad that we don't have the money to do all of what I have imagined. LOL
I would still like to get together for playdates (Michelle, Amanda, Amy), hopefully the sickies will leave our house and we get to play sometime soon!

Ooh, Sister, we are all ailing too! It's this bizarre springlike weather we keep getting teased with, I'm convinced. Is this January or April? UGH! Connor started us off with some gross cough/snot/diarhhea combo, and now Mia and I are in the midst. We've been taking Zicam so it's been easier on us. Hope Steve can avoid it.
I was really looking forward to sending Connor to preschool today (ha!) and he's just not up to it.
Incidentally, the church where he goes to preschool (Hixson Prez) is offering a Friday morning Mom's group from 10am-11:30, free childcare provided. It's communitywide, so you'd be welcome if you're interested. It'll also include a Bible study and there's a cute book we're supposed to pick up, which I'll shoot you the info for if you want. They've got a handful of free copies I'm told.
Nice to hear from ya, now I feel caught up on what's happ'n in the ellis family! Praying you all get better real quick and it doesn't linger. Wish I couls come over and roll up my sleeves to help ya out! xo
We are finally well after at least one of us at a time being sick for over a month. I want to take the girls to playworld down under one day when it is rainy and cold. Hopefully you can join me!
