Busy Month!

Here comes a jam packed post full of stuff, so here we go...
First off, Happy Birthday Ryan! He turned 6 on Sunday (Sept. 4th) and also lost his first tooth! He pulled it out himself and everything :)

At the end of August, I sprained my ankle getting out of the van while dropping Jacob off at school.  It's been interesting getting around on a bad ankle and being this pregnant too. I am going to go to an orthopedic doctor for them to check it out.

Mid August we started school.  Jacob is going to pre-k at Snow Hill and I am schooling the older two at home.  Jacob loves pre-k and has so much fun! He comes home totally exhausted!  Homeschooling is going really well with Baylee and especially Ryan.  Baylee is a very independent worker and is no problem at all.  Ryan, on the other hand, I was worried about, but surprisingly he is doing very well.  He is learning a lot, grasping math better (thanks to Math U See), and reading pretty good for his age.  I can't complain about his progress at all.

Also in mid August, we got a 3d/4d scan to hopefully see our baby girl.  She was sleeping for the most part, but we got a few good pictures. Here is one of them, I think she looks like Norah.  We'll see how much she looks like this when she makes her grand entrance in October.

And speaking on our baby girl, Robb and I made the executive decision to not name her Lila.  Her middle name will still be Jane, but we have changed the first.  The reason we did this was because I desired to have a name for her that had a story behind it.  Ever since Bo died, I have tried to think of ways of incorporating him into her name.  Since a direct name couldn't be used, I tried to think of things he liked.  Bo's favorite singer by far was Jimmy Buffett and I remember many a days sitting on the boat with Bo and him singing along to whatever Buffett song that was going in the background.  Since Bo's love for Jimmy Buffett is a fond memory of mine, I was attempting to find a song by him with a name in it or in the title that we could use for her first name.  It took me all of 5 minutes to find a song and a name.  As I was listening to the song and reading the words to it, tears streamed down my face and I knew that was it.  Now since baby girl will never get to meet Bo here on earth, we will be able to tell her all about him and the story of how we picked out her name.  Plus Robb is really excited to learn the guitar cords, so he can sing the song to her.  :)

I'll announce the name at a later date, unless you can figure it out for yourself.
