On Saturday, Robb, me, and the kids went shopping. First we hit the Just Between Friends sale because it was half price day. I thought I wasn't going to find much because we didn't even get there until 2pm and the sale was over at 4, but I ended up finding a few really good deals. I got a 4 long sleeve shirts for Jacob, 1 shirt for Ryan, a Christmas dress for Baylee, and a bathtub and rocker thingie for the baby and only spent $16!! The best deal out of it all was the rocker. It looks a lot like this one but I only paid $2.50 for it! And you wanna hear another funny story? That rocker had been sitting there all week I guess just waiting for me to buy it. I got it home and removed the cover so I could wash it, and tucked in between the cover and the board that serves as the seat was a pink receiving blanket! Personally, I think it's a sign, maybe even a divine sign, but we'll see in just a few more weeks. I really think this one's a girl and when I saw that blanket I just gasped.
Anyway, we also went to the Goodwill because Robb was in desperate need of some shoes and I needed some maternity clothes. My regular clothes are starting to get a little uncomfortable in the belly area. Robb found two pairs of shoes, one was a pair of Tommy Hillfiger tennis shoes that looked like they have never been worn for $3.99 and a pair of Avia half boots for $6.99. I found 3 pairs of pants and two shirts for less than $30. Two of the pairs of pants I got will last the entire pregnancy, so I was glad about that. :)
Then we went to that discount bakery shop on Bonny Oaks, and that is where I am going to go get my bread from now on. I got the whole wheat Natures Own with double fiber for $1.59 a loaf(at Bi-Lo its $2.89). I got 4 loaves and stuck 2 in the freezer. The next time I go back I will get more so I can freeze more and not have to go back so often. I was impressed with that little place.
Actually I was impressed with all my little deals that day. I felt proud of myself.
