Stocking Fun

On Saturday, we went to Hobby Lobby and bought some fabric to make stockings out of. I let the kids decide what fabric they wanted before hand. Baylee wanted Hannah Montana and Ryan wanted Ka-chow (his name for Lightning McQueen from the Cars movie). I made the executive decision for Jacob and picked Tonka trucks, since he likes to push around the big tonka truck we have here at the house. When I finished sewing them, I think everyone (especially Robb) was pretty impressed. I found some more fabric around the house, so I think I am going to make one for myself, Robb and Norah. I just need to get some extra ribbon today. Anyway, here are the pics of my latest creation.

The stockings are great. I wish I could make things like you! When do you find the time???

They really didn't take too long to make. Robb was home and the kids sort of hung out around the sewing machine waiting for their stocking to be done.

Wow! Awesome! I just love how crafty you are! I should write a review on the sling you made too! Good stuff! It means so much more too bc they are homeade and they had a part in picking it out!
