Mothers Day

Mothers Day was such a wonderful day. I don't think I have had such a wonderful mothers day yet. It was even more special because Sunday was Pentecost and our church was doing a big "to do" for it. Everyone is encouraged to wear red to church, so all of us were dressed in matching red shirts, it was so cute! Baylee and I had solid red shirts and Robb and the boys had matching red striped shirts. Once we got to church, we went to our class and then went to worship. When we walked in, the sanctuary was filled with red balloons and when the percession came in they waved these multi colored streamers on large poles. Baylee was absolutely fascinated with those and watched them the whole time they were going down the isle. Then later in the service, they had 5 people reading God's Word all in different languages all at the same time. It was really neat! And then at the end, when the percession was leaving and we were singing for the final time, all of the children that participate in childrens chapel, let red balloons go from the upper balcony. It was really very moving and beautiful. After the service but before I left, I just had to kneel down and pray, I was so thankful for everything, finding a church, for my beautiful children and a wonderful husband, and for God sending the Holy Spirit.
After church we met my mother at the Cracker Barrel in Calhoun, Ga for lunch. We had a nice visit and a good lunch (it was extra good because we had to wait 2 hours on it). I had went the night before to Belk and got about 3 really nice dresses for church that I spent over $125 for, so I told Robb to just let that be my mothers day present cause I didn't need anything else. But he got me a present anyway, a Willow Tree statue that I had been wanting. Its a mother holding her sleeping baby, it was so thoughtful of him. I will post a picture below (please ignore the dust on my entertainment center, lol).
Anyway, that was my wonderful mothers day. I hope every one of my mommy friends had a very special day with their families!
