Updates

On Friday I went and registered Baylee for Kindergarten at Snow Hill Elementary. I know, I said that we were going to home school her, but we changed our minds. I do still have the desire to home school her at some point, just not right now. There were a few things that I think that Baylee needs that only school can offer her at this point. It will be sad to see my first born go to school for the first time, but Robb has already planned to take the day off so he can be with me while I am an emotional mess. LOL I am really excited for her and she is super excited too; her cousin Madison is already teaching her the ropes of Snow Hill. I am not sure what it will be like to only have 2 kids during the day, probably pretty wierd since she has always been with me.

Ryan is now potty trained during the days. YAY!!! He still wears a diaper to take a nap and to bed at night, but not during the day, even when we are out and about. I am so proud of my big boy! After he uses the potty he comes out and says, "Good Boy!", it is so cute. Hopefully by his birthday in September, he will be down to just one diaper at night.

Jacob is now sleeping 8 hours at night, usually from about 9pm until 5am, from there he cries wanting to come in bed with us (which we let him do), and he sleeps for another 2 hours or so. He has also had an ear infection and been teething really bad, but he is still sleeping pretty well at night, he is just a pill during the day. He is now completely off the breast and taking roughly 3 bottles a day and eating meals 3 times a day also. I debated for a while whether to wean or not, but he is doing wonderful and we are all getting more sleep which makes for a nice, happy mommy. I do not regret weaning him 2 months early in the least, my kids deserve a mommy that is not tired, stressed, and screaming all the time. And not saying that the breastfeeding was causing me to be that way, but it was causing him to wake more during the night and me in turn not get as much sleep. It has been much more harmonious the past week or so.
Finally, Robb and I are in the process of getting all the junk out of our house. We have been cleaning out the garage, closets and the basement and putting the stuff on freecycle. We are slowly cutting down on all the stuff clogging up our space and trying to make our house seem larger. On Friday night we re-arranged our living room and changed out our entertainment center (we got a new one off freecycle). It looks so much larger now and flows much better. Now if I could get around to redoing the hall bathroom and getting bunk beds for the boys room, I would feel even better. I am just trying to be patient about the bunk beds since we don't have a lot of money to spend on them and we don't really need them right now either. Good things come to those who wait, right?
