I have been thinking about and compiling a list of praise and worship songs that I like because I am going to use them when I am in labor. Last night, Robb and I were discussing songs that every southern baptist church sings. I mentioned that 'Are you washed in the blood of the lamb?' was one of my favorites. It reminds me of my dad's old church and worshiping the Lord through song with him there. A very fond memory of mine. So I thought I would post this for my daddy so maybe he would be blessed by it today. I love you dad!

I had a marvelous time singing harmony along with the video as I watched it. It brought me immediately to being a little girl at my grandparents' church, listening to my Poppie's baritone voice sailing over everyone else's. He never once looked at his hymnal.
Thanks for igniting that sweet memory. I know he's singing this song in Heaven!
