Little update

So I am officially term (37 weeks) and yesterday Michelle came for my home visit. Debi was not able to come, so it was just Michelle. Everything seems to be going ok, I am still feeling well and the baby still sounds good. Since I was 35 weeks, I started taking these herbs called 5w to tone my uterus (it does this by causing contractions) and prepare my body to give birth. So by the time of the home visit, I was really curious if I had made any progress, so I asked Michelle if she'd check me. She did and I was already 50% effaced and 2cm!! I was very impressed with the work that the contractions had done. My blood pressure, on the other hand, I was not so impressed with. It seems to be holding out for the time being, but I don't know how much longer it will (I may be a little pessimistic since I've had BP problems before). If it does get to high for comfort, we will have do what we did last time and encourage the baby to come on out. My next appointment is next Monday (the 6th), so I will update again after that appointment.
