Fathers

In honor of Fathers Day, I am writing a special blog in honor of the special men in my life.  I am very thankful that I not only have one father, but two!

Love my daddy! I used to think he wasn't as smart as he thought he was. Now I know I'm not quite as smart as I think I am, and daddy knows quite a bit.

My step-daddy Bo. It's always surprising to me how much you can love someone who is not really your biological father. He held a lot of things together for many years. I am very grateful for him because he really loves me and took care of me as if I was his.

And this sweet man. I think about what kind of dad he is and it makes me tear up.  I could not have asked for a better dad for our children.  Never would have thought 8 1/2 years ago when we were surprised with our first pregnancy, that he would end up being the father he is today.  But God always knows what He is doing!  It takes a special man to be the father of five children, and although he thinks that he is not good enough at times, he is awesome in my eyes and the eyes of our children. Love you honey!
