My Little Cheerleader

My big girl Baylee is an official cheerleader now. She is cheering at Bayside Baptist with their "Upward Cheerleading and Basketball" program. So for she really likes it, plus her cousin Madison is doing it as well, so that is an added bonus. Her games are on Saturday's and she practices on Tuesday nights. She does really well with it and strives to get her cheers perfect. Her favorite cheer is "Big G, Little O, Go! Go!" and her favorite chant is Go Bananas. It is so adorable to see all of these 4, 5, and 6 year old kids saying "Go bananas, Go go bananas, you lean to the left, you lean to the right, you peal your banana and (while they stomp their foot) uh, take a bite!". This is the first thing that Baylee has ever done as far as an organized sport is concerned. This time is so neat because you are really starting to figure out what they like to do and what they don't. It seems like she really likes it, but I would like for her to try gymnastics too. She is real limber and likes to flip, plus she has no fear when it comes to that sort of thing. My baby girl is growing up and starting to do big girl things, and its kinda sad. But with that being said, it is so special to get to see her enjoy something and strive to do her best at it, just like we have taught her. :)
